I have a terrible bass that i got off Ebay for $85 cuz i was interested in learning to play bass. Ever since i've had it the middle (unlabeled) knob which i believe to be the treble fader has cut out when turned too far. Today, i was feeling bold so i opened the back plate and discovered that it is cutting out because the potentiometer (i think it's called) is loose in the body. so when turned too far it puts strain on the wires cutting it out. my question is, How does one go about setting the Potentiometer in the body?

uhm if u take the knob off the top there might be a screw thing just tighten that.

if not, thw hole is too big so u could drill a new one
