This is a new song from my band. Tell me what you think.

She's Gonna Bat Me Down

Verse 1:
Springtime has started again
And all the foxy ladies start to blossom
They come out and seduce the men
With which i'm sure they don't have a problem

oh its, got my heart going crazy
staring at one of those sexy ladies
then my girlsfriends eyes turn blazin' green
and I know that lady will the the last thing I see cause she..

Chorus 1:
she's gonna bat me down
she's gonna bat him down (together)
I was staring at those hips too long
now my baby's gonna bat me down

Verse 2:
Friday night and its time to swing
Im all dressed up and step onto the dancefloor
Then I find my eyes caught staring
at this pretty girl, cute for sure

I step towards her hoping we could be
But then my feet decide to betray me
I trip and plant my hands upon her chest
then she rages like wolverine flips out her claws screaming Eeeeeeee!!!

Chorus 2:
she's gonna bat me down
she's gonna bat him down (together)
God why did I let it go so wrong
Now this girl is gonna bat me down

Bridge:
She's gonna bat me down,
murder me, slay me, smite me, kick me
slice me, bite me and beat me to death!

Chorus 1:
she's gonna bat me down
she's gonna bat him down (together)
I was staring at those hips too long
now my baby's gonna bat me down

The guitarist (who wrote it, so it isn't my work) is a Hendrikx fan an we play rock/funk with a lot of blues and jazz influences.

Well those are almost all of Hendrix's influnences/roots right there. I did like it, it was very wild and I would to hear it put to music. Some of the stranger parts are hard to imagine but I am sure if you treat them right you could make them work really nicely. Maybe the "Eeeeeeeee" could be a pinched harmonic or a high pitched bend....2 and a half steps maybe? lol

The last lines of the verses are a bit rap-like and on the Eeeee the bass slide up an octave.
