My first three strings noticibly tremolo even though I don't have a trem on my guitar and everything is nice and tight. I canhear it through the amp too.

Cheap amps are "that bad". They suck up your tone like cocaine at Kate Moss' party.

Calibration probably, or maybe the frets are too high, take the guiar to a music shop and ask them to file them, or it cpuld also be that the whole neck has been curled... or some problem on the bridge, I would take it to someone who knows to see what he thinks... good luck

dude the truss rod in the middle of your guitar may be bowing in the wrong direction...like a rain bow..which is really bad....um that will cause some of your strings to ring and stuff..that hapened to my guitar ..this happened to mine in the winter because the heating sytem in my house cause the wood to buckle a bit...took it to the shop and the guy said humidy would let the guitar straighten its self back up..and it did..blah blah ...so basically check your truss rod...
: )

...are you resting your palm on the bridge?

*Edit*
Hmm i thought u had a floating trem, but I guess not. I know resting your hand on floating trem bridges can cause more tension making them tighter. So i dunno
