I have an Ibanez RG 270 DX with a Floyd Rose floating bridge. Are these set up for specific string gauges? My current strings (10 gauge) are way too old and I have a pack of 11 gauge strings sittin on my shelf. I heard floyd roses are setup for 1 specific string gauge. Is this true? If so how would one adjust my bridge so I could use the 11's. Thanks

Open up the back of your guitar. You'll see two screws that you can tighten to adjust the spring tension. You'll have to increase the tension to get the bridge to sit parallel to the body.
Someones knowledge of guitar companies spelling determines what amps you can own. Really smart people can own things like Framus because they sound like they might be spelled with a "y" but they aren't.
