Seems a little bit rushed. And the drums are, umm, lacking. It's pretty obvious you used a drum machine. But overall pretty good. Your voice is good.

did you know the major scale on a piano, starting at whatever note (lets say E). you just go straight up the white keys without hitting a black one. and you got the major scale.

It's a little quiet and rough round the edges but it's a nice cover. Nice vocals too, although they're more laid-back than the original.

i didn't do the drum track my friend did, but that's how he did it lols
um, we used an audio-technica instrument mic for the acoustic guitar, and some sort of condenser mic for the vocals
these went straight into a presonus firebox, into Cubase Le
sorry about the sketchy details, it's the first time i'd ever met the guys/used their equipment
