A couple of days ago, I saw a Marshall JCM900 50Watt 1x12 combo in a random store in the neighbourhood. It was priced for 350 euro and I was just wondering, since I'm looking to upgrade, is this a good deal? It appeared in good state, although I was in a hurry, so I didn't try it out with the lovely jazz guitar next to it.

Anyway, since I'm not even close to my loved setup of an Orange Rockerverb50 with a 4x12 cab, I need something with sheer volume to abuse until I have enough money, which will probably take me years

Do you guys think that it's a smart idea to buy this JCM? Of course, I have to like the sound etc.. But, if you're only looking at the financial aspect, do you think it's a good deal?

350 euros = very good deal, if you ask me. About as much as a new mg50. That's gotta be a good deal.
These go to eleven...

Do you guys think I can bitch a little bit about the state of the tubes (which is pure bluffing) or will I just test my luck if I do that?

Of course, it doesn't hurt to try.. But still

Try it, see if you like it, if you do, that's a pretty damn good deal.
