I might be buying a new guitar stand but it has a warning that it might damage guitars with a nitrocellulose finish. Is there any way to tell if my guitar has a nitrocellulose finish? It's a Dean Custom 450

Most modern guitars use a poly finish unless they are a reissue of a classic guitar. You should check with Dean, but I doubt your guitar has a nitro finish.

old Gibsons are the only ones with Nitro Finishes i believe thats why the old Silverbursts aged to green because of the nitro finish im pretty sure no guitar nowadays has that
