Thanks, I really wanted to know coz I just put a deposit on one and im planning to take it on holiday, its about a 5 hr car journey so will it need any serious protection?
#5
Nah...just make sure it's not rolling around and such, just like any other amp.

Um... just use common sense? Shouldn't need any special attention....

Oh but when you do move it, try to lay it on it's FRONT. That way, nothing sharp could pierce the grill. If it's an open back, than maybe throw something over if to keep other stuff out.

Oh yeahhhhhhh......

Sorry I was just thinking about when I took my amp home for the first time, the shop owner helped me load it in the back of my truck. That's what he told me.

But is it ALL metal? or is inbetween the grille a mesh covering?

lol, it's like a diamond plate but with the diamonds cut out. I just looked something could definately get in between it and damage the speaker.

It's just a metal covering. There's no other speaker cloth behind it. And the holes are rather large, so yeah, I'd be careful. But hey, look at it this way: The AD30VT stock speaker blows, so if you damage it, it's an excuse to upgrade it.

^Definately..

"Accidentally" stab the speaker with a samurai sword. Then go buy a vintage 30 ..or something O_O
