any tips of what to use and what parts to clean when cleaning an acoustic guitar?

edit: i don't want to spend too much, and preferably something i could find in my little local independant store. (None of that Guitar Centre whatever, we don't have those over here in england)

you should wipe your guitar with a chamois cloth often. Everytime you change strings, wipe it thoroughly with a damp rag. make sure the rag isn't wet..just damp. don't use waxs or anything of the sort.
if you live in a place with low humidity, a humidifier is a good idea. 45% is the best humidity for a guitar. you may want to get a humidifier or maybe put a soaked sponge is a small plastic bag in your guitar case. too much humidity may damage the guitar though.
