Wanting to find out some stretches for your fingers that will help you for your practice? Your at the right place. I will reveal some of the stretches I perform with my fingers in order to stretch them ready for my practice/jam session.

Exercise 1 - Warm Up Stretch
In this exercise, you will be stretching your fingers one - four frets to get them warmed up.

A|----------2---5-----------------------------5---2-------------------------|
E|-1---4-----------------------------------------------4---1----------------|

Exercise 3 - 120 BPM String Skip Stretch
In this exercise, you will need a metronome. Set the beats to 120BPM, then your ready. You will hit the notes to the beat of 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + (+ = and)

For Example:
If you play 1,4,3,6 on the low E string, you hit the 1 on beat 1, 4 on the +, 3 on beat two, 6 on the +, etc.

NOTE: If you cannot play the exercise at 120BPM at first, set your metronome to a confortable speed.

Exercise 4 (Final Exercise)

D|-----------------------------------4--7-----------------------------------|

E|-1--3--2---4--------------------------------------------------------------|

And Voi-la! Your fingers have been stretched and you're ready to play. Simple, eh? You should spend two - four minutes on each exercise, and should not try to rush through the exercises.

Good luck stretching!
