This may seem stupid but when i try recording with audacity I will record one track and then when I start another track I can't hear the one that I just recorded. This isn't good if i'm trying to ssolo or something because I don't have anything to follow. If someone know how to fix this problem I would be very gratful if they showed me.

turn the output volume in audacity up , the one right by the mic in. if you already tried that, then i can't help ya

go to preferences then do click a box with something about 'playback while recording' or something along those lines
