After playing with my guitar topless and all that a few times, i've noticed it's getting a tiny bit smelly. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to clean it off that won't damage the finish?

(Ewww)

I'm a lady so I don't have the same sweating problem (but my fretboard/neck smells funny, I have yucky sweaty .. corrosive hands).

My suggestions:
* Always wipe off your guitar after playing.
* If you're sweating badly, go take a shower!
* Try masking the smell with a nose plug .. or spay something in the room like Febreze!
* Change shirts frequently.

lol no i think it's mostly the neck now that i look at things closer, which makes sense because i have fairly sweaty hands and it doesnt smell all that sweaty, just weirdly metallic. How that gets onto my stomach after playing is a mystery to me.

And i dont have saggy man tits...

My neck smells weirdly mettalic but that's just the finish and polish.

Give your guitar and your self a good wipe down when you play.

If you smell, don't take your shirt off.
