I was at the book store a couple days ago and I read about scale chords in this months guitar techniques mag. I have seen them used before but rarely. I made some examples of what they look like. Is anybody familiar with these? How could I use these when writing a song? I didnt get to finish reading the whole lesson in the magazine because I was on break and had to go back to work.

------------------5--------5-------
--2------------------------7-------
------6----6---------5----5-------
------4----7--------------7-------
--2--2----5-----5---5------------
------------------------------------

They are chords that use a scale but arent really explainable by names I read.
