I have question about this, Wondered if anyone can tell me on experience.

Is it a lead boost?

If you activate it whilst on clean does it just mess up the sound or give it slight OD?

Cheers.

it simply gives a volume boost, itll just increase the volume no matter what channel your on, it wont give you any overdrive.

This pedal is really used for when your in a band situation and you need to cut through the mix more to perform a solo or lead playing.

Hmm not entirely true. If you turn the gain to its highest setting, itll give you some overdrive.

Have you ever used one? Most places say they're just clean boosts.

If you turn it high, it'll give you overdrive, you'll be able to hear that just before your ears bleed....

They're essentially volume boost pedals, but they do add a tiny bit of their own distortion/ overdrive to the signal.
