hi, i have been playing for almost 8 monthes and i have a bit of a problem: Sometimes the distortion on my amp goes down, so it sounds crappy, but if i play hard, it comes back... is there somthing wrong with my amp? or cable? or is it just me?

It's possibly your cable. Mine used to do that, it's dramatically lower in volume, and sound terrible. I went and bought a new cabble, and it doesnt do that anymore.

What amp do you have?

Haha, nice! ^

Judging by his reaction to the amp, it may be the amps fault. Maybe start saving for a enw one now. But first buy a new patch chord, and see if that's the problem.
