It sounds like you're going to have to adjust the spring tension.

They're probably not. But you can always bring the guitar to a tech if you don't feel like messing with the trem too much.

Anyways, are you still getting the guitar refinished?

yeah, the screws are like out far enough where i can see like a centimeter of the uhh, what are those called....god i cant remember hte name, the little spiral things, and it just seems way too far compared to my washburn

and i dont know if i will have the color changed, after 2 days of being in a car with it, bonding with it, ive kinda grown to it, but i might eventually, dunno really

but it does have some chipped spots, only like 3, put still, it'd be nice to have those fixed up

edit: THREADS, thats the word

It doesn't sound like you have any kind of problem. As long as the correct tension is being applied by the springs it's all good.

If you are gonna refinish it, sand it down and give it an oil finish. Sexy!

heh, i realized it was down, because i didnt have the strings tightened on it, im taking it in tomorrow for a fine tuning, and also, yeah if i get it refinished, i might have it get that stain type thing, i dont know the name of it, but its where you can see the grain still

dunno though...

Stained oil finish, and dont be afraid to adjust your guitar.

Well done, I think you made a good choice. Nice guitar, 7 stringers aren't my thing but it's still nice.
