I have this guitar http://www.squierguitars.com/products/search.php?partno=0930300021

I replaced the strings with D'addario EXP12 medium gauge, the problem is that I am getting fret buzz. I tried adjusting my truss rod using the allen came which came with it, the fret buzz is gone, however the action is too high for my liking and it feels hard on my fingers

Will a lower gauge string be easier on my fingers and allow me to lower my truss rod even lower with getting fret buzz?

Thanks

Also, what's the difference between "bronze 80/20" and" phosphor bronze" coated strings?

Lighter gauge strings are always easier on the fingers, but you sacrifice some tone. As for the action, the best thing you can do is to find the strings you are going to stay with, then have your guitar set up by a pro. Its fairly cheap and if you stay with the same guage strings, you're set.
