^its called drop c

meh, people call it different things. Drop d down a step is the way i refer to it- Drop C i think more of just dropping E down to C.

I believe that should be called D-Drop C. Don't take my word for it, but when I say that people always understand, so I guess it works.
Feel free to ignore my ranting.

A few Pantera songs are drop D tuning, the most popular one is Walk, also Rage Against the Machine has a few too. ^ About the tuning thing, I refer to CGCF tuning as Drop C Standard, as D standard is DGCF and drop C is CADG, thus I got Drop C ... Standard GCF.

Tool songs: Vicarious, the pot, jambi, Sober, Stinkfist, right in two, the grudge, lateralus, Aenima,

Almost all tool songs are in Drop D, but these are some of the best,

Toxicity by SOAD was all recorded with what they refer to as Drop C, which is CGCF tuning. That's also what the book calls it...

The End- The Doors

Well...if you want to be technical about it...there is no bass part in that song. It's Fender Rhodes keyboard bass...and it doesn't just go down to a low E...so yeah...(I'm just being an a-hole.)
