Hi,

Can anyone tell me the difference between a 50's 60's 70's Strat. Are the necks thinner or something?

Cheers

70's have a bullet truss rod with a tilt neck adjustment and a large headstock.
60 have no skunk stripe.
I don't have a 50's Strat

50's strat has a maple neck, 1-ply pickguard and a 3-way switch (I think)
60's strat has a rosewood fretboard on that maple neck, a 3-play pickguard and a 5-way switch
70's strat is made of Ash, (the others are alder), has a bullet truss rod (that sticks out), a FAT headstock.

The pickups, neck shapes and hardware are the same.
