Considering the metal background it might be more helpful to suggest bands a little closer to his taste.

NOT Billy Talent.

Try listening to Suicidal Tendencies.

If i still have that offer i may be able to come through on a part for the tape.

Quest for fire is ****ing great. Check out the homo stupids steve from 9 shocks plays bass in it and they are pretty similar.

I didnt know that QFF/Jazz split was out. ill have to grab one.

Crack Rocksteady is amazing. Topic starter, you entered the Ska and Punk forum. If you wanted suggestions and ska and punk Choking Victim and Leftover Crack and great skapunk bands. However there have been some great bands suggested that you might like. I still suggest the Suicidal Tendencies, especially if you like some moments of shred.

But again theres nothing wrong with Choking Victim or Leftover Crack.
#18
The Ergs!
The Soviettes
The Riverdales
Screeching Weasel (barring their last two albums)
Reagan Youth
The Ramones
Adolescents
Annihilation Time

BTO gave me a Jazz Music/QFF split. QFF has a split comming out with Burnin' Doobage... I'm very very excited for that. Adam Foster is a cool dude!

Yeah the offer still stands for the tape. I dunno when it'll be out. Our recordings are getting mastered by our friend Charlie (who was in Amongst the Best Company) right now so they should be done in a week if drug prices stay where they're at.
