i'm trying to compile a list of songs with examples of descending intervals (ex. minor 2nd descending, major 3rd, etc.)...i'm having some trouble coming up with them...can anyone help me out?

no, between any two notes...like for instance i know that if you're ascending, a major 3rd could be Kumbaya or something

I have a list of every interval, both ascending and descending. I'm not sure if you're into jazz, but if you want, I can type it out.

Have to give credit to it, though. It's in Mark Levine's Jazz Theory.

I believe there's an article in the "Lessons" section titled "Identifying Intervals"... that should help.

As far as I know, intervals are always from the lowest.
Don't think that exist.

I learned it this way....
Think of it like distance(not displacement)...
From A and B are 50m apart. It does not matter whether you're looking from A or B, there will still be 50 m.
