I sort of see what you mean, and I do really like audioslave and rage, but Jimmy was a really great songwriter and producer and all that jazz, where Tom is a (imo) good guitarist, more technically inclined than Page - who (again, just my opinion) is/was a very musical person, but not super technical on the guitar, which isn't a bad thing.

I don't really think you can call anyone "the next jimmy page"

oh, and about the tom uses too many effects : I read a quote from him saying he's been using basically the same (i think he called it cheap) setup for many years, and uses his creativity to come up with new sounds. I don't think he uses too many at all, he makes tons of cool sounds

Easier than playing it at your ankles man. Don't underestimate him because he isn't your style, you can't deny he has talent.

tom morello is awesome. Michael angelo batio was at la music and he said that tom morello is one of his students, and i heard some shred solos on audioslaves new album on the radio.

All Hail Tom Morello

Imo One One The Best Guitarists In The World

And Im Comparing Him To Petrucci Satriani Etc

Shred Solos Are To 90's

He Has Taken The Guitar To A New Level.

Its Gonna Be A Long Time Before Theres Another Guitarist As Innovative As Him.

Peace
