Without further ado the song:
Losing The Way

Sometimes my indiscretions,
Don't seem so discrete.
Then my moral high-ground,
slips under my feet.

Then I lose my way.
I'm too blind to follow the light.
Then I turn and stray
From the path that I know is right.

It's a shade of twilight,
The place between day and night.
There my innocence fades away,
into a shade of gray.

Then my sense of honor,
doesn't lead the way.
When my voice of reason
has nothing left to say.

Then I lose my way.
I'm too deaf to hear what's right.
Then I turn and stray,
Falling from daylight into the night.

It's a shade of twilight,
The place between day and night.
There my conscience loses the way,
in a foggy gray.

When you're at the top of the hill,
There's farther to fall.
When the stakes are raised,
It's easier to lose it all.
Then the the straight and narrow,
Isn't so straight.
You can try to change yourself,
but it's too late.

Then I lose the way,
I'm just too wrong to be right.
Now I kneel and pray,
Fly out of darkness into the light.

I would greatly appreciate any critiques. Thank you in advance.

I like the whole song, except for one part
"It's a shade of twilight,
The place between day and night.
There my conscience loses the way,
in a foggy gray."

It just feels a little weird to me.
