I heard someone on hear say something about Swineshead pickups, are they any good. They look nice and they arent really expensive. Just wondering if they're worth it.
Gear:
Hagstrom Viking cherry
Crate B15 bass amp
Squier SQ MB-5 5-String Bass
Epi Valve Junior head
Russian Muff
FAB Chorus

I have a set of Swinesheads warthog/condor in my Agile LP and they are excellent pickups. Totally worth the money, which isn't exhorbitant anyway.
It's a fine line between clever and stupid.

I'm thinking about building a tele h-h, what do you think would be the best for that. I play mostly hard rock.

Well, I would opt for the Condor in the neck for sure, awesome pickup in that position. You could go with either the Warthog or Runaway in the bridge, depending how hot you want that pickup to be. The runaway would be great for blues/classic rock but would need help with more modern rock, it's a lot like a PAF. The warthog is hotter but still articulate, not muddy at all, will play metal no problem, but won't clean up as easily.

Personally I'd go with the condor neck/warthog bridge. I think you can hear soundclips at their website.
