old nfg sucks

Erm, sorry but I haven't really heard anything from them that I really liked...

Different strokes, I guess

It's probably because Chad Gilbert got engaged to one of the girls from Eisley

New NFG is pretty poor It's a shame because I love their old stuff!

PS He's marrying one of the Eisley girls?! WTF? Isn't one of them already dating / engaged / married to one of the gaylords in TBS? Or am I talking sh*t again?

gaylords

I haven't heard that word used in quite a while..

On topic, I never really liked NFG anyway...so it doesn't bother me either way.

You sound like one of my mates. He didn't think much of that new NFG song, so he looped it on his PC and listened to it 10 times in a row until it grew on him. You people are weirdos

Well, you see this happen with alot of great pop punk bands.

Take Green Day: Dookie to American Idiot.

Blink-182: Dude Ranch to Self Titled

... and now NFG

Personally, I don't have a problem with new NFG. When i heard its not your fault, i was cool with it, but when i heard hold your hand, i panicked. But then when i heard oxegyn, i was cool with it. All I want from New NFG is to have a good mix of fast paced punk (Truth of my Youth) and a slower song here in there, but if i hear nothing but that ****ing keyboard the whole time like in hold your hand, i will die

EXACTLY ^

With Green Day it really wasn't much of a big deal with me nor was it with Blink (at the time) but I've dug NFG from the beginning and perhaps they're just growing up but im still dissapointed

Am I the only one who doesn't think American Idiot was sh*t? It was a huge improvement from Warning, which sucked.

Yeah, and I don't give a sh*t about NFG.

im not making a statement. im not a blink or green day fan. but they were just the most popular examples

I actually prefer Nimrod, Warning, and American Idiot over Kerplunk, Dookie and Insomniac. They just have more variety to them in my opinion.

NFG have gone downhill since Sticks and Stones. That was easily their best album. I'm not saying Catalyst was a bad album, just not as good. And their newer stuff isn't anything impessive...
#34
I found a version of them covering Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me a River". It is awesome, I am surprised I like it.

I like New Found Glory's Self Titled and Nothing Gold Can Stay a whole lot, Stick and Stones was pretty good too, Catalyst was complete and utter ****, but I have heard good things about this new one so who knows...

I'm pretty sure it was nfg, the singers voice sounds pretty whiny and nasally...

That could quite easily be Lost Prophets as well then..
