Hey guys well im looking into flying V's atm as i am selling my LP. So i was wondering if anyone had any experience with Dean V's?? Particularly this one http://www.cheapguitardeals.co.uk/shop/item.asp?itemid=517

its looks fantastic and im gna hunt around for one to play but my only concern is the basswood, is it really that bad?? i know satch has basswood in his guitars but is it anygood??

Basswood is fine. I hear its soft though and it can mark easier than harder woods.
I don't own a basswod guitar to comment from experience though.

i have an epi classic lespp paul, dont really like it, i use a line6 spider 2 (love it even though you may not ) i also have an ibanez S470 and an epi SG. Price range isnt much to be honest, im expecting at least 250 for my LP and i may sell my SG for 100, i play all sorts, hard to narrow down.

So i mean i really like this V, so anymore comments??
