He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt.
He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice.

Those two were just perfect.

thin lizzy anyone?

Yup, I would have thought Thin Lizzy would have been the first one that most people think off. Definately the first band I think of anyway. There's some great songs like "Whiskey in the Jar" and "Don't Believe a Word" where there's some great duos.

Also, Don Felder and Joe Walsh share the solo in Hotel California. EDIT: beat to it on this one

Im Going to say Josh Homme and Troy Van Leuwen of Queens of the Stone Age...No its not stoner rock and they both have a very hardcore yet 60's groove to them, makes for a good slow jam.

Agree, although i'm not a great fan of A7X although they are very skilled.

Hetfiled & Hammet in my eyes are the greatest guitar duo.

Other good ones:
Adam D & Joel from Killswitch Engage
Alexi & Lupi (dunno how to spell his name) from Children of Bodom
the boys from As I lay Dying (dunno there name i just no they work their harmonies increadably well)
