I love the sound of these amps, and I hope one day to get one, but quite a few of the user reviews I read of them on Harmony Central mentioned reliability problems, though one guy said they had got a lot better since they started making them in China. Any thoughts?
They are as reliable as ever. probably more reliable than the old vintage ones. Don't believe everything you hear. The only reason people tell stories of them breaking down is because of their self-contained contruction. The L-shaped chassis gets hot inside. Hotter than normal amps. i've never had any problems with any AC30 ever though. I have a small $5 fan that blows through the top vents to keep things cool.
