Try:
A# / F / Dminor / C

Just play with them. Its a sad/emo sounding progression

I'd actually recommend down-tuning a little to Drop-C or Drop-D Down a Half-Step and try that out. Many people play in different tunings for different reasons (more comfortable on fingers, more unique sound, etc.). But you never know what you might come across.

Playing the maj7 for the I and IV of the chord progression gives a rather sad vibe too, as the top3 notes of a maj7 chord form a minor chord. And if change the iii minor to a major chord and add the b7th it creates a lot of tension. So try this: amadd9 - am - C - Cmaj7 - F(7) - E(7).

Well I mean, he wants to know sad chords so he can write a sad songggg, Rather than just playing what he feels - rather than descovering what chords feel right to him.

Looks to me like somebody wants attention more than they want to learn to play the guitar.

soooo i stand by my statement.
