Hmmm, I found their Myspace site. Not bad.

Other than the apparent "dorkieness" of dressing up like a bunch of Tolkin addicts....

But thier music is pretty cool.

^What do you expect from a Folk metal band with eight members in it, one of which plays the hurdygurdy.

Anyways. Amazing band, something like Korpiklanni and Dark Tranquillity mixed, but perfectly.

A couple of friends from school showed me these guys.

They're not too bad. I love their use of instruments... I mean, I know a lot of Folk Metal bands use obscure instruments, but still...

As of right now, my favorite song is Your Gaulish War. Amazing.

Wow. I just saw the birth of new-gen Eluveitie fans.
In Finland I met with them (Eluveitie) and went drinking.
Lots of fun.
I actually talk to Chrigel alot. However, it is via MSN because I live in Suomi (Finland), and Chrigel spends most of his time in Sweden.
Are most of you guys.....American?

I'm working on a tab for Song of Life (Focusing mostly on guitar/flute parts)... if I upload it here will anyone help me finish it/correct my mistakes?
#23
Gaita, hurdygurdy, and uilleann pipes? These guys must really love their pipes. It all works together amazingly well.

I'm from England, tell them to get their asses over here!

Their tour was all in mainland Europe, I was really disappointed when they didnt come over to England.

Here's my tab of the Song of Life so far in gp5 and gp4; mainly tabbed for flute and guitar. Keep in mind it's less than half done. I'm hoping you guys can correct my mistakes and help me out with the flute parts.

They signed with NB, announced today.

yeah just read it myself too

I dunno if the label really changes their music, they'll probably just get more noticed and that's a good thing

Awesome band, I've heard of these guys but never (for some unknown reason) bothered to look them up. Tonight was the night with nothing else to do (SNOWSTORM) and can I say I am impressed. Spirit is awesome, and I'll be getting Slania next as it sounds just as cool. Which one is the better album do you think?

So is this the band that's headlining Paganfest USA part II?

Yes. I think I might go, because I should have gone to the first one. This band will be playing, along with Moonsorrow who are also awesome.
#37
Yeah, when they announce the dates they better be coming to South Florida

I want to see Primordial the most, I heard they were ACE live.

I would see Primordial even if all the other bands were Job For A Cowboy cover bands, I want it that much.

Moonsorrow I would LOVE to see also, and Swashbuckle doesn't sound too bad from their Myspace.

What's this doing right at the bottom of the forum? There needs to be more folk and melodeth combinations.
