Hey,

I was just practicing my tremolo picking the other day. I think my technique is alright but wanted to improve my speed. Anyone have some tips or tricks to use that can help improve speed and accuracy with tremolo picking? Thanks.

The only thing you can really do is practice. Try holding your pick at an angle to the strings, it helps for speed. But apart from that, practice practice practice!

Most peoples upstrokes are slower than there downstrokes,
so that means you wouldnt be as fast at tremolo picking/
If your upstrokes are much faster though,
it could even out and youd get better resukllts there was some equation for that or something.
so practice your upstrokes,
and practice hitting A or D or even G string notes with tremolo palm muted triplets in between each note

Start slowly.

Get the technique right, then increase the speed gradually.
