1 of my favorite bands.

The Black Waltz its a masterpiece any melodic fan should own.

The Groan Of Wind should be nominated the best melodic song ever!
- Treat people the way you would like to be treated.
- Don't do to others what you wouldn't like others to do to you.
- Live and let live.
- Always tell the truth.

Well I've heard Defeat which is awesome and Groan of the Wind is good, so if the rest of the album lives up to those then I'll love it. I would probably get swampsong or swamplord, but I already have a few songs from each of those, so I figured I'd mind as well get the album I've heard the least of.

The Black Waltz is at least for me their best album but the rest are not far behind. Great band that really know how to blend melody with their music.

Groan Of The Wind?........ That song isn't that great compared to alot of their other stuff I find. Heritance of Berija is one my favorite songs, off of their new album my favorite song is probably To The Gallows or Time Takes Us All.

I use to love the new stuff alot more then the older stuff but I've become a bigger fan of the old stuff. I wish on the The Black Waltz they had both styles of vocals, that'd be cool

The Black Waltz is great. What other albums should i get?

The Black Waltz is probably their best effort yet.

FYI all their efforts kick ass.

I heard from a friend that Jari from Wintersun was in Kalmah or in some way involved with Kalmah. Is this true?

I've got Swamplord and Swampsong but I think Swamplord is a much better album, there was too much piano/keyboard on Swampsong, however "Moon Of My Nights" has some pretty cool piano passages.

And I love the whole middle bit until the end on "Hades".

First time I heard, acctually pretty good. I kind of stayed away from them for a while cause Melodeath isn't my thing. I like them with high pitch vocals, which cds have the screams?

Vaginal Destruction

^ Do you like sludgey stoner/doom? Well then you should try Vaginal Destruction
#32
By screams you mean the non-death metal vocals, right? Well those would be all except The Black Waltz. I'd recommend They Will Return or Swampsong, but all of them are super classy.

Like Gman said, get Swampsong. All of Kalmah's stuff is pure ownage, my favorite melo-death band right alongside Arsis. The Black Waltz is a true masterpiece.
