Has anyone had the problem where your fingers push into the other strings and messes up your sound when bending? What is the best way to prevent this? high action ? what?!

Technique, play for a long time.
Why did Pat Metheney cross the road? He didn't, his hair got in the way

You're not doing properly. Its better if you held up your guitar like you're holding ur dick and do bends like that, rather than your thumb on the middle of the neck you should curl it up as if its touching the low E. By doing this, you can get stronger bends and better control over the string and it wont slip under the next string.

Dont get me wrong, you still can use the "thumb in the midde" position but requires practice and finger strength coz the one that's doing all the bending will be just the bending fingers, as opposed to if you use the "thumb over the neck" position, your thumb will assist you.
