my buddy bought a gibson sg special...it was used...3 years old...and hes looking for new pickups. were in a band and we play mostly ranging from pop punk to post hardcore and anything in between...he needs something that will give him good versatility...any suggestions? preferably under $150

eh, i find emg's are versatile. and they're only $100 each, so saving an extra $50 couldn't hurt.
