I've been a guitar player for about 2-3 years, but its never felt right, and i cant play drums to save my life, but ive been thinking about getting a bass, can someone tell me a good bass brand?

For beginners, same as guitars really. Go with a squire, of used mexican Fender, cheaper Ibanez (maybe a GSR200?)or a Rogue might also be a possiblility (But I don't know if they make guitars too)

Just go to your local guitar shop, ask to see some low end basses, don't tell them your price range, and see what works for you. Everyone here will have different preferences, don't listen to any brands that they shoot at you.
LOOK AT HOW RIDICULOUS AND UNBELIEVABLY ANNOYING LARGE SIGNATURES ARE. DON'T BE A JERK - MAKE YOUR SIGNATURE SHORT

Get a hand made Warwick, you won't be disappointed and you can play anything and it will still sound good.

I disagree Slipknot is more technical than Necrophagist and more brutal than Suffocation, that's why I do hardcore dances to it with my 14 year old friends.
