Are Ashdown exclusivly Bass amps (stupid question but i need to know).

And can you recommend an Ashdown for £650?

no they make guitar amps too..like the fallen angel which is apparently a nice inexpensive amp for nu metal type stuff, so Im told..if your into higher gain stuff, perhaps check out a fallen angel

i actually played an ashdown fallen angel tube amp the other day, and i didnt like it that much, in my opinion it sounded very "solid statey". saying that though, if you do like nu metal stuff, it did seem to suit that very well. i tihnk they have some built in effects if you like that kinda stuff too...

as for sumthing under 650, give ebay a go

Anyways, if you must go new the Fallen Angel combo is pretty good. I know the amp quite well (we dated back in highschool) and its a pretty cool amp. Enough gain for most anything, plus a gain boost feature. If youre into darker, heavy, downtuned toons then definately go check it out!
