alright. so yesterday i bought a wicked vox ad50vt amp. now i'm looking at buying a guitar. right now i'm borrowing a guitar from Bmm386. its an epiphone les paul jr and its not bad for a first guitar to play with for a while. now i'm not a really basic player. but i'm not like a master. i dont know bar chords mostly because i dont feel like learning them.

anyways, my budget is about 500$ max. but i might be able to squeeze a little more. i'm thinking a humbucker-single-single. guitar center came up with a Fender Deluxe Strat (HSS) Electric Guitar. if anyone else has any other suggestions for a first electric guitar just tell me.

Fender deluze strat seems a good choice if your wanting the configuration, not bad first guitar i have to say.

Sounds like a good guitar to me. I also like the PRS Soapbar SE. Great, colorful cleans, good distortion.

The Fat Strat would be a solid choice. Honestly, I don't think having two single coils would really matter. Might as well just get a Schecter with coil tap. Fender coil tap sucks.
