I recently had trouble with loose tuning pegs/machine heads on my acoustic, and was given an easy fix for it...which meade me wonder how difficult it would be to simply replace them?
My guitar is a low end, with stock hardware, but it's a good guitar, and I figured if it didn't cost too much money or trouble, there's no reason I shouldn't replace the heads with some good Grover tuners. Is this an easy procedure? (Doesn't look difficult). If I buy new tuners, is there a difference between those for an electric and an acoustic?

And while I'm at it, are there any other fixes I could do to improve the tone/quality/look of an acoustic, besides replacing the pickguard?
