Every time we talked I felt like Columbus
Stumbling upon something far off and fantastic
Remote and mine
But after all this time I'm just
A wayward wanderer who has no place
To call his own

And you can act hurt or unsure of your decisions
But that's what they where

Now the dark and stars collide outside while I
Inject my lungs with some new venom
It's true, I quit for you once
But soon lost my resolve

And God had nothing to do with any of this
So stop blaming him.
Loved everything except the first part, the message was there but I felt like it was sort of hindered by the abrubt structuring. The whole Columbus idea loses some of it's impact IMO. And the last line of the second to last stanza, that doesn't quite work either.

But yeah, other than that no real complaints. Good stuff.
