Can anyone reccomend any forms or artists of this music?

I've been doing meditations and would like some soothing ambient music while I meditate. Thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean but Dntel has some songs that are just like ambient sound and less like songs. Like "Pillowcase" and "Open Your Window And Let Me In."

The bands Sleep Chamber and Sleep Therapy may be up your alley here. Also, if you don't mind dark ambient, look into Lilith Moon, Church Ov Melkarth, and the first Mortiis album 'Fodt til a Herske'

If we're going with post-rock too then Sigur Ros has some really ethereal parts, mainly on the album Ágætis Byrjun.

Selected Ambient Works Vol. 2 by Aphex Twin is great stuff to work to, or just to chill out to. No beats, no rhythm to get distracted by, just ambience and mood. Brian Eno's great, too, and Sigur Ros, though that's a little more uplifting and not quite as relaxing as Selected Ambient... in my opinion

Hmm judging from your pic you'd fit in more with a fat busted tribute.
