OK, well i reciently played a friends Stratocaster, and he has reversed his bridge. He has a Left-Handed Bridge on a Right Handed guitar, obviously, reversing the tremelo bar too (Like SRV has). I am also wanting to do this to my guitar, but i know that if i did it now, i would muck it up. How exactly would i go about doing this?

Would i need to drill any holes or is there anything i should be careful about? Thanks very much

I just found this description for a new Bridge

Vintage style tremolo gold, left-handed, 2-1/16" string spacing, w hardware ...

a couple of things. Will this be a fully gold one, as the picture wasn't gold.
and also, it says 2-1/16" string spacing, is this ok for a standard full size strat. thanks
