Me and my friend had an argument about Three Days Grace with some kid, because he was obsessed with them. We bet him that there were more sub-genres of metal than there are Three Days Grace songs. I think we named 32 or something.

There are a lot of Metal Sub-genres that only have like 4 or 5 bands that are so underground the members are Mole People

To be fair some of the smaller sub genres shouldn't really be counted
