Hey everyone, I just had some questions about some good songs to play for a cornation for like homecoming king and queen. They asked if me and my band could play a song for the beginning while they walk in, and I was wondering if you guys knew any good songs that are pretty slow and laid back with 2 guitars if possible?

I hope this is the right section, and also, do you think a 350 watt bass amp, 100 or 350 watt electric amp should be good enough to fill a medium sized gym?

Please try to be helpful, and thankyou

Something?

I don't guess you'll be singing it, so Something sounds like it would work.

champaign supernova-oasis. maybe. idk lol

the dance - garth brooks (it can be turned from country to true rock n roll quite easily, pm me if you want hellp on that; i do it regularly lol)

if you have a piano: ive loved these days or summer highlands falls - both by billy joel.

tiny dancer if you want pussy that night

homecoming is tough, cause its the beginning, prom is easier cause its the end, there are som many more songs about ending lol. good luck bro

Yes, our lead singer is a very talented piano player, and he can play piano.

Do you think any Cold Play songs would be better? Or do you think "run" by snow patrol is a good one?

BTW: Are the amps big enough?

Yeah those amps should do quite nicely. and for songs...

Slayer- Raining Blood then Buried Dreams by Carcass......,

k, maybe not those two,

Probably what Zeus 2716 said, I'd go with those

I'm doing the same thing for my school, except we are not doing it while they are walking or anything. We are kicking it off with Twist & Shout by The Isley Brothers/The Beatles(whichever you prefer )

Run by Snow Patrol would be a very good song for that. Also, yes, the amps are big enough.
