My brother gave me a jim dunlop Crybaby not long ago. I have been fidling with the settings and I have run into a problem from the start.

The range is all messed up and i dunno how to fix it. When the pedal is back you can basically hear nothing, then when it is put forward is extremely loud and ****ty sounding.

Any help?

Try this...take off the back of the wah, and loosen the little thing that holes the rack in place(notched thing that turns the pot). Now you can mess with the pot to change the sweep a bit.

Sometimes when playing at low volumes it's hard to hear it in the heel back position, try turning up the volume and see if the problem is still there

What settings exactly did you mess with? I take it that it's not a standard crybaby? Pictures?

But there's only one knob on the original crybaby, the wah pot/treadle itself?!
