What we dreamt of tomorrow, comes today
The children of the past, comes today
The starlight of Aquarius, comes today
The age of mankind forever, dawns today

The reminiscent of our past, echoes today
The ones we once knew, are gone today
What's left of behind, is gone today
Destruction and debris, is our today

The life you live, is the life we lead
The ones we knew, are the ones we need
And the sun sets tonight, fire alight
But the ones we knew, are the ones we need

Mass destruction, is their construction
Cos the good has gone, and there's destruction
And the sun sets tonight, fire alight
But the ones we knew, are the ones we need

I see the sky turn blood red, all tonight
The chaotic screams of gunfire, tonight
She whispers bloodcurdling screams, tonight
And my sweet fury wants to set you alight

The towns swarm with mosquitoes tonight
The first born will cry, all night
The blood on the door, will save you tonight
And the wine we once knew is blood, of fright

The life you live, is the life we lead
The ones we knew, are the ones we need
And the sun sets tonight, fire alight
But the ones we knew, are the ones we need

Mass destruction, is their construction
Cos the good has gone, and there's destruction
And the sun sets tonight, fire alight
But the ones we knew, are the ones we need

And they yell now, for the people dead
The ones we knew, are the ones dead
And the moon shines bright, with fright
But the ones we knew, were the ones we need

And they scream, but we have no answers
Give us reason, and don't feed us lies
But the moon shines bright, with fright
But the ones we knew were the ones we need

But the ones we knew were the ones we need.

I think I really need some improvement to these lyrics

I think it's a bit too rhymed and repetitive to be honest especially for the length of the song. The right music would help that out some. There are some great lines in there. "And the Sun sets tonight, fire alite" is awesome. It could stand to have a little more variety I think but over all it's pretty good.

Here's a short bit I did if you could take a look: https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=430166

I agree man, I can't even remember what inspired me to write this song; it just came out. I dunno what music would go with it, I don't even think there might be a rhythm suitable for it.
