How come some of them have treadplate and speaker out outlets on the back and some of them have recto duel and no speaker out instead?

It probably just depends on the model year, maybe they updated the newest ones or something. The newer ones should all have an external speaker jack for an 8ohm speaker, where it disables the internal one if you use it. The plus should have the option of running stereo with the flextone cab in addition to the internal speaker. The models also probably depend on whether it has the latest updates. They are free on the Line6 site.
