nuff said.. is there anything i can do to this very ****ty acoustic to make it sound beautiful?
Strings and bridge pins are the easiest and usually the only upgrades to make it sound better.

What kind of "beautiful" do you mean? Like thick, warm, and round or bright and "cutting"?
Of coase the Make/Model WOULD be helpful info here. Maybe there are things you can do to improve it. At least some. And maybe you'd just be pissing your money away. Unfortunantly sometimes there's just no way to turn a turd into a diamond.
For strings I would highly recommend Martin SP Phospor/Bronze 80/20 12s. I would also look into a brass nut and brass endpins to balance out the warmth and brightness.
