Ok when I bend a string sometimes I do not want to let it back down and just play whatever follows. Now, should I mute the bent string and let it come back down or just realease the pressure off the top of the bend and just let it come down. It seems if I do that though I can hear it go a bit flat and it seems to work better when muting with my palm. I do not know what is considered the best way to do this. I find it would be hard to mute if you are playing fast as opposed to just releasing pressure.
i'd suggest just letting the pressure off with your finger and letting it bend back down, because if you palm mute it, you affect the other strings as well, if you play fast.
