well ive never had any type of pick wear out like that...
was the pick nylon?
or plastic?
i, personally dont trust plastic ones.
you do one pick scrape and the strings start to shave away at the pick.
plastic is weak!

Dunlop Tortex Standards are what I use...

Those are pretty good. They last and they don't slip from your hand... =)

Buy a bunch with all gauges, try them and find the one that is good for you...

As I see the ignorance of humanity engulfing reason and sanity like a wave of perpetual defeat and misery I ask myself, when the hell is everyone going to shut up and actually think?

try clayton, that's my favorite kind of pick, i haven't found any that get worn away by pick scrapes, i use a 1 mm and .63 mm clayton pick, and a dunlop .46 mm

what ever you do dont buy cool picks the guy at my music store said he loved them and they were plastic with little grip numbs on it so I gave it a try 70 cents and a few days later all the little bumps fell off and were all over my guitar and finger

I Perfer Dunlaps tortex sharps 1mm for a crisp sound but the tortexs I think are tought and have a good grip
