i got some rack gear which needs to be setup into a peavey xxx head.

bbe 462 sonic maximizer
dbx 366xl compressor
rocktron hush c

i was wondering what would be a good order to run them through and if it shuold go in the loop or front.

I would go through the front. First the hush then the maximizer. I dont like compressors so i wouldnt use it. But you could put it after the maximizer.

I think you're going to have to experiment, IMO, it's going to be different for everyone's setup and preference. If it were me, I'd go hush, compressor, then maximizer, all on the loop. I'd want to run compression on a clear signal, then run it through the maximizer like an EQ. I much prefer the maximizer on the loop.

hmmm ill just experiment then. i like the compressor and maximizer, my friend is running his through a jcm900 he showed me an on off demonstration and theres a big difference
